You won’t see this on Letterman…

Each night, David Letterman has his Top 10 list of various items but you won’t see this list. Why? Because it’s not funny!

But it is important.

Investopeida.com recently published this article on the top 10 myths about life insurance. The article is here:

I’ve heard all 10 as objections to protecting loved ones from the unthinkable. And myth #6 is the one you hear from the financial ‘experts’ seen on TV like Suze Orman. While buying term and investing the difference may be true for some, it is certainly not true for everyone.

Do you have any personally owned insurance? If so, when was the last time you reviewed it to make sure it still met your needs? If not, why not? Which myth do you subscribe to?

September is Life Insurance Awareness Month. Most people don’t think about it until it’s too late. Don’t make that mistake.

Answer to the last trivia question: C – 37%. For all the talk about taxing the “rich”, the truth is that this country NEEDS the rich. Proportionally, they pay more in taxes than anyone else and spend more than anyone else. And since the economy, as measured by the Gross Domestic Product, is primary based on consumer spending, getting the rich to spend is an important thing to get this country going again!

A - $0
B - $989 Billion
C - $1.75 Trillion
D - $2.62 Trillion
