Just because you are good at something, does that make you good at something else?

I'm really good at certain things, like knowing about money or I'm pretty good at math too!  But does that make me a good plumber?  Of course not!

Yet, I see this effect all of the time.  Whether it's money or anything else, I see people assume that just because I'm good at one thing, I must be good at this other thing.

Of course we all want to think we are, but we're usually not.
