While the Affordable Care Act aka ObamaCare has changed the rules, medical debt - even for those with insurance - continues to be a burden on families. From copays to procedures that aren't covered in full, medical debt can add up quickly.
As a result, families with medical debt hear from debt collectors more often. And if past results are still true, medical debt used to be - and I'm sure still is - a leading cause of personal bankruptcy.
