Recently, I've been working with some people who are lucky enough to have pensions - public pensions specifically. While most private sector employees would love to have that peace of mind that comes with a reliable check for as long as they live, pensions aren't as strong as they would seem.
Public pensions - city or state - are in rough shape even if current retirees are getting their checks. But's in an important consideration for future retirees.
